Varmedetektion

Den vigtigste anvendelse af LHD (Linear Heat Detection) er kildedetektion. Det betyder påvisning af en varmekilde på et tidligt tidspunkt. En LHD er designet som et tyndt kabel og kan installeres i store længder hos kunden. Ved at gøre dette føres LHD forbi mulige varmekilder såsom elektriske motorer, kompressorer, ladestationer, e-distributionskasser, kabelkanaler osv.
Da LHD er følebestandig overfor støv, snavs, fugt og kemiske påvirkninger, forhindres falske alarmer, og vedligeholdelsesomkostningerne holdes på et minimum. LHD fås i form af et digitalt kabel (Protectowire) og i form af et fiberoptisk kabel, der måler temperaturer over den samlede længde.

  • Lineær glasfiberdetektion

    Glas fibre detection is a revolutionary way of measuring exact temperature with help of a glas fibre detector. The reflected signal from the laser that is sent by the glass fibre is temperature sensitive and provides a precise temperature measurement on each point of the detector. With the supplied controller the detector can be devided into 256 zones and alarm criteria can be programmed per zone such as min/max temperature, rate of rise, deviation of an average etc. The system is perfectly suitable for buildings with explosion safe equipment such as chemical factories, refineries and tank terminals. Direct controlling from the fire fighting system is possible. The maximum length of 8 km offers a flexible and affordable detection device.
  • Lineær Varmedetektion

    The digital heat detection cable from Protectowire™ operates as a switch. Two conductors, covered by heat sensitive insulating Polymer hoses, run parallel inside a cover hose. At a preset temperature, the Polymer hose melts and the two conductors contact. This contact causes the fire alarm system to sound the alarm. The cable is UL/FM approved, it possesses very special characteristics which make it suitable for many various applications
