Project Description
Fire Protection Solution for Twence Hengelo
Twence strives for a sustainable, circular, and biobased society. They do everything they can to extract as many raw materials and as much energy as possible from waste, biomass, and solar energy. Their primary goal is sustainability. Thanks to innovative technologies, they are increasingly able to recycle materials from waste. The energy yield from waste, biomass, and solar sources is also steadily increasing. In doing so, Twence contributes to regional sustainability objectives.
This project had to be realized within a short timeframe. During the course of the project, the design drawings were revised multiple times.
Three monitors (lafettes) were installed on an elevated platform. The lafette cabinet allows for easy installation and protects the firefighting monitor from dirt and debris inside the bunker. This ensures the monitor functions accurately for many years. The cabinet door opens automatically when firefighting is required.
A control station was also created for these monitors, allowing them to be operated remotely.
Despite the tight schedule and mid-project changes, our team successfully delivered the project.
