InnoVfoam Research & Development

The doors of the new office building in Oudkarspel were opened at the beginning of 2010. At the time, the design of the building not only took into account spaces for holding presentations, but also “real-life” demonstrations for many of our products and systems. This allows us to offer a variety of options for demonstrating both the theoretical and the practical sides of extinguishing technology to our (potential) customers. A water cellar with eighty cubic metres of storage ensures the water supply from the diesel pump to the various systems.

An actual helipad including a helicopter has been recreated on the roof of the office building. The following systems are integrated there: various fire monitors, helipad protection with both rotating nozzles and pop-up nozzles, a tank foam generator, a medium expansion foam system and a high expansion foam system. Furthermore, various foam proportioning systems and inbal valves can be demonstrated. A testing system with a pump capacity of 11,000 litres per minute is available for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

Our Research & Development Centre was added in 2019 in the form of an aircraft hangar. To top it all off and complete the customer experience, there is a real Cessna 421 in the hangar. Here too, the latest and most innovative extinguishing foam systems have been incorporated, such as an integrated roof monitor, monitor with lift system, low expansion foam system guns and the most innovative and in-house designed Hi-Ex generator.
