Klinikum Neumarkt

At Klinikum Neumarkt, we equipped a helideck with a fully integrated foam extinguishing system, specially designed to guarantee maximum fire safety. This project was also one of the first collaborations with the company Wurst, which makes it extra special.

For this helideck we supplied a redundant pump‑around system. This means there are two pumps: if one pump fails for any reason, the second pump automatically takes over. This ensures a continuous water supply, even under high pressure and in critical conditions. In addition, the system was expanded with two monitors and two hydrants. The monitors are strategically positioned to tackle a fire directly, while the hydrants provide additional connection points for the fire brigade to intervene quickly.

Finally, a booster installation was installed, ensuring that the water tank is automatically refilled as soon as it starts to run empty. This way, the system remains operational at all times, without interruption.

Thanks to this well‑thought‑out configuration, the platform is optimally protected. The two monitors provide powerful and targeted foam deployment, while the redundant pump system and booster installation guarantee continuous operation.
