Project Description
In a very short amount of time InnoVfoam has been capable of delivering a compact foam proportioning skid. The proportioning skid and three electrically operated fire monitors will be applied on the pipe laying vessel named ‘Aegir’ from Heerema Marine Contractors.
The complete systems assures optimal fire safety of the helideck on board of the ship. On Wednesday 7 May the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) was successfully conducted at the InnoVfoam headquarters in Oudkarspel (The Netherlands) by Lloyd’s Register, in the attendance of Heerema. The FAT included proving the correct foam proportioning rate as well as the correct operation of the electrically operated fire monitors and the control cabinet. Last Friday, May 9

, the entire shipment was ready to be transported to Singapore.
This week, two InnoVfoam engineers will travel to Singapore to commission the system. We will keep you posted about the progression and will present pictures about the operation and the live test.
