Project Description
On Thursday, 8 September, the helideck on the roof of the University Medical Centre (UMC) Utrecht was officially reopened after being out of operation for a long time due to construction work.
In recent years, helicopter air ambulances have had to land on the grassland next to the UMC. A special meeting was organised to celebrate the reopening of the helideck, which was attended by doctors and nursing staff, representatives of the local media, the fire brigade and the project team. After an air ambulance landed on the helideck, the invited guests exchanged views about the implementation of the project and the fantastic results while enjoying a snack and a drink.
InnoVfoam supplied the foam extinguishing system for the project. The
official commissioning
of the system took place in March of this year.
Looking back, we are delighted with the great teamwork, which led to successfully completing the project.
