Offshore fire protection

Looking for a fire protection specialist that complies with regulations such as CAP and ICAO for oil rig helipads? We are happy to help you develop the ideal fire protection for your needs.

Oil rig helipads are an essential component of safety evacuation plans. That is why it is necessary to have a helipad extinguishing system that works flawlessly. We offer technology that enables you to protect and maintain helipads in accordance with regulations such as CAP and ICAO.

We have developed a DIFF (Deck Integrated Fire Fighting) system especially for helipads, which incorporates a successful foam proportioning system component. We supply a fully functioning extinguishing foam system made up of equipment such as pop-up nozzles, extinguishing monitors, a control system, electrical cabling and pipework.

The foam concentrate used for the helicopter pad is “3% Rehealing Foam” from Solberg, a fluorine-free foam concentrate with ICAO approval. The absence of fluorine chemicals in this foam concentrate ensures that it is completely harmless to the environment.

Testing
We can deliver a fully customised plug-and-play extinguishing system to your location. We are happy to conduct a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for our customers in our extensive testing facilities allowing for the systems and products to undergo full testing. It is also possible to have these tests conducted on site. This is called a Site Acceptance Test (SAT).

Projects
We have carried out a number of offshore projects such as for the following companies: Gaz de France, Total, Petro Canada, Dutch Petroleum Company (NAM) and Wintershall.

We have further developed specific products and systems: our Topics. The different topics for this industry can be found behind the photos below.
